Is there any difference between xanax brand and the generic one? Is one more effective than the other or are they both the same in terms of effectiveness?

Some Generic Xanax have poor manufacturing techniques and equipment as well as use inferior chemicals to make their batches. Also some variabilty is allowed in manufaturing. For instance a 2mg generic Xanax might have an allowable variability between. 1.7mg and 2.3mg of active ingredient. If they put 1.7mg of active ingredient in the pill it saves them money and they have met their burden legally.
So basically Brand name Xanax is just better quality.
